West Valley - Mission Community College District Staff Development
The District Staff Development Department partners with the District and Colleges to develop and provide training to assist the organization in achieving its strategic goals. The department provides state-mandated training such as Child Abuse Mandated Reporter, Discriminatory Harassment Prevention, and Diversity to all Faculty and Staff. In addition, the Leadership Development Academy is a major initiative of District Staff Development. This department also works closely with Human Resources to develop and deliver other programs such as Supervisor Skills Development, New Employee Orientation, and Screening Committee Training. Another service that District Staff Development provides, when funding is available, is professional development and mini-grant support to Administrators and Staff.
