100.8
100.8.1 New associate members or those members in satisfactory statusmay elect, with the approval of the appropriate Vice President, to teach summeror wintersession classes. Regularand contract members in satisfactory status will be given preference overAssociate members in the assignment of summer or wintersession classes perArticle 18.5 or to fulfill a full-time underload.
100.8.2 Summer and wintersession teaching assignments are made by theDepartment in consultation with the Division Chair/appropriate Vice-Presidentand with the consent of the member. The maximum summer load will be a total of .600 for any combination ofcourses or sessions. The maximumwintersession load will be a total .600 for any combination of courses orsessions.
100.8.3 No exception will be made.
